As a recognized leader in the fields of psychiatry and qualified medical evaluations (QMEs), Dr. Sahba is called upon to provide excellent service in various settings, including medical, legal, and academics. His expert opinions and evaluations are regularly requested by the community. He has been relied upon by lawyers/judges, insurance carriers, professional/licensing boards, companies, and numerous organizations to make informed decisions.

​Dr. Sahba has over 22 years of experience in both in-patient and out-patient mental health settings. He was elected by his peers as Chief of Medical Staff seven times during his tenure at a California State Hospital.

Dr. Sahba has been a California Medical Board expert examiner since 2006, where he is responsible for reviewing and evaluating the quality of work of other California physicians, and presenting expert opinion in court on behalf of the California Medical Board. He is certified by California Division of Workers’ Compensation Medical Unit to examine injured workers.

Dr. Sahba was an HBO medical consultant from 2016-2021 in Hollywood, CA, providing guidance to HBO directors and producers about mental health issues.​​
